Finally, Britney Spears is going to personally address for the first time in recent years in her controversial conservatorship, with a court hearing set for June 23.

“The conservatee has requested that. I seek from the court a status hearing. At which she can address. The court directly,” Britney’s attorney. Sam Ingham III told Judge.

Sam did not reveal the specific matters that Spears would like to address, but he shared that the hearing would pertain to the “status of the conservatorship.”

“My client asked that. It be done on expedited basis,” her attorney added, pointing at the urgency with which the 39 years old star would like to appear before the court.

Because of this request, Judge Penny set this status hearing for June 23 at 1:30 p.m. PT at Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
