Another promotional piece for Gotham Knights has dropped ahead of DC FanDome and it contains an Easter egg teasing a notable Batman villain.

So far, we know that Gotham Knights will feature the Court of Owls as the main adversaries the Bat-Family will go up against in the game after Bruce Wayne’s death. The upcoming game will also feature Mr. Freeze and we got a glimpse at the mission during last year’s DC FanDome.

This year’s DC FanDome will feature more details on Gotham Knights, which may include the reveal of more Batman villains who will appear in the game. One Batman villain that has been rumored for the game is the Penguin and the new promo seems to be offering a hint that he will indeed be in it.

The new Gotham Knights promo highlights Bruce Wayne’s death in a Gotham Gazette newspaper, but Twitter user @Arkham2019 spotted a mention of the Penguin’s Iceberg Lounge. The Iceberg Lounge played a major role in Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham City, and there now seems to be a good chance we will see a new version of the Gotham location in the game. Batman is dead. It is now up to the Batman Family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin – to protect Gotham City, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. You must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save Gotham from chaos.

The upcoming game is scheduled for a 2022 release and will be playable on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
