Peaky Blinders is finally here with the final season. The official Twitter account of Peaky Blinders shared a brief teaser for the new season in late November. The teaser only shows Tommy Shelby, the protagonist of Peaky Blinders, walking down a darkened street with a bag in hand. Fans like us are anxiously excited with just a sneak peek of the teaser.
When will Season six of Peaky Blinders start shooting?
Anthony Byrne confirmed through Instagram that the show’s final season wrapped shooting on May 27, 2021. The filming of the final season was started back in January 2021. Creator Steven Knight also claimed that the story will continue, “in another form” following the conclusion of the show with season six.
He also added, “Peaky is back and with a bang. After the enforced production delay due to the Covid pandemic, we find the family in extreme jeopardy and the stakes have never been higher. We believe this will be the best series of all and are sure that our amazing fans will love it. While the TV series will be coming to an end, the story will continue in another form.”

BBC executive producer, Tommy Bulfin, revealed that the series six scripts were truly remarkable and would provide a send-off to delight the fans.
Release date of Peaky Blinders Season 6
The director of Peaky Blinders, Anthony Byrne, gave the fans a little hint about the release date of the final season through Digital Spy. He said, “If we did start shooting in January (2021), we wouldn’t finish until May or June, and then it’s another 6 months of editing.”

New cast member Conrad Khan, while speaking to Radio Times, said, “That comes out, from what I last heard – I mean, these things change so quickly – I think that will come out next February, the beginning of next year.”
