Sydney Sweeney and her love for cars went viral about a year ago. This was when the 25-year-old began to restore a vintage 1969 Ford Bronco in her free time from Euphoria. She did it at her friend’s father’s garage and even made a TikTok channel called @syds_garage which went viral the second she started posting the restoration videos of her Bronco.
While the fans have always loved this side of the Euphoria actress, seems like it also caught the eye of Ford and that is when they approached her. Hence, the Spokane native is now a part of the company’s “Build Ford Proud” platform, which solely concentrates on the upcoming generation of drivers. The blonde beauty has been roped in for the same as Sweeney was one of the best options and examples Ford spotted to influence the next generation of female drivers.
In a recent interview given to Vogue about her partnership, The White Lotus actress said, “I grew up driving Fords and in a family of mechanics.” She also admitted to the fact that she is extremely proud of herself for being part of a campaign that works in the direction of empowering women. After Frankies Bikinis, Sydney Sweeney induces her inputs in Ford designs
Very recently, the Sharp Objects actress launched her bikini range called ” Love Letters by Sydney Sweeney” with Frankies Bikinis. The actress contributed to the collection, which was a tremendous success in the market. Apparently, the $44 billion worth Ford decided to replicate that and hence has launched a collection of pants and overalls with the actress.
This collection is produced by Dickies and offers four different types of clothing pieces. A pair of pants from the collection has an inside-out-wearable waistband which is primarily designed to attract the present generation. Each item reflects Sweeney’s collection of go-to work clothes.
The actress mentioned in the interview that she wanted to pick from conventional work clothing and transform it into something new. The collection also has a cool corduroy baseball cap with a light blue lid. And though the actress loves almost every piece from the collection, she chose this cap to be her favorite.
