2024 straight up served a platter of TV lineups and performances, that got fans talking. While some familiar faces came back with a bang, reminding you why you fell for them in the first place, many new faces popped up and delivered brilliant performances. From hard-hitting dramas to laugh-out-loud comedies, they nailed it all into making for a year of TV series people could not get enough of!
Yes, there were some big moments on the small screen this year, and it was these actors, both familiar and especially the newer ones, that brought their A-game, making you laugh, cry, and binge-watch these shows all night!
Manny Jacinto’s in The Acolyte
Manny Jacinto’s smooth transformation from an underplayed character to a complex antagonist, as Qimir in The Acolyte
took fans by shock. With this character switch and his playing it wonderfully with subtle expressions, sharp emotions, and stunning action sequences, he soon became one of the best roles in the series. Though Jacinto’s performance was a standout in the series, it was not enough to keep The Acolyte
from being booted
. Jacinto has left fans wanting more and eager to see more of him in future projects, after his role as Qimir.
