Blake Lively has recently announced that her sparkling brand, Betty Booze, is adding two more flavors of vodka iced teas to its collection: Meyer Lemonade and Passion Fruit. Talking to PEOPLE about these new additions

, Lively has shared that “vodka felt like the perfect next addition to our ‘bar’ lineup because of its subtle and popular flavor”

and has termed its spirit “an ideal backdrop”

for both the arrivals.

According to Lively, her Southern heritage is what inspired her for these new flavors, as iced tea, “especially in the summertime, is a staple

” in those regions. Delicacies like sweet tea, passionfruit tea, and tea with fresh lemonade, “it all feels like relaxation and peaceful times.”

For her, iced tea is both a feeling as well as an experience. And to make the arrivals more appealing, Lively has smartly played a movie card.

After 8 years, Blake Lively has reprised the role of Emily Nelson in Another Simple Favor,

and connecting the dots between her business and the movie, the actress said that her complicated character would opt for the Vodka Tea with Meyer Lemonade. Adding more to it, Lively told PEOPLE, “Emily had a fabulous wedding in Capri, which is all things lemon.”
