Cardi B Hilariously Claps Back at Trolls Awaiting Her Sophomore Album, Leaves Fans Laughing Out Loud

. But if the music industry was put under similar examination, Cardi B would take the credit without any ado. A while ago, the rapper was making the rounds of every controversial fold over her political endorsement, but with the US elections now over, all eyes are back on her music. While the context may have changed to her missing sophomore album, the trolls remain the same. However, Cardi B in her characteristic wit knows well to turn the table, and with that may have caused a laughter riot online.

Cardi B recently took to X to re-post an AI-generated POV meme by another user that imagines her as a hip-hop fossil from 2054 when she finally drops her absent sophomore studio album.

The imagined album, titled ‘Defamation of Character,’ had Cardi B captioning her post, “Lmaaaooooooooooooooo,”

but in turn, managed to spark a chain reaction of troll fest like a seasoned expert for trolls, by giving the meme more audience for engagement. 

Till now, Cardi B has released one studio album, that is her debut record, ‘Invasion of Privacy’ (2016), three mixtapes, 38 singles, and 17 music videos. With 2025 just around the corner, it will be nearly a decade without her second album, and fans are clearly getting restless. However, unlike the fandoms that resort to frustration and criticism over an artist’s missing record, Cardi B’s fandom played the funny card.

However, Cardi B also appreciates good humor, and without taking the trolls in all their seriousness, her lighthearted response ended in a good laughter session because what better substitute for her skills than her other talent, wit?

Many fans seized the moment to gather with pleas asking for at least the album cover if not the title.

A few folks also could not help but add how their hunger for her music is literally at its last straw. Although her sophomore album has been a long time coming, Cardi B’s mentions for the record have only heightened the anticipation.
