‘Donda 2’ Finally Releasing: Amidst Chaos on X, Ye Makes a Special Announcement, Sending Fans in a Euphoria

stranded fans in a sea of anticipation with ‘Vultures 3’ and ‘Bully’ in the pipeline. Since then, he has seemingly forgotten his followers are desperate to find an anchor to the shore. Amidst the drawn-out wait and long-lost promises, the Atlanta-born rapper has made waves about everything—positive and negative. Though the whereabouts of his unfinished business remains just as foggy as day one, the ‘Vultures’ rapper has sent fans into a spiral with yet another incomplete component of his discography: ‘Donda 2’. 

Following his unhinged swipes at showbiz A-listers, Ye literally put X up in flames with the teaser of the hour. He shared an image of Donda’s Chicago house

, burning in the void, with a caption, reading “DONDA 2 Coming next.”

Although fans held their horses for ‘Donda 2’ for years after the ‘Donda’ drop, this teaser was definitely something fans did not have on their 2025 bingo cards. And before the questions land on his incomplete ‘Vultures,’ he threw another question in a separate tweet: “WHAT WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE VULTURES 3 or DONDA 3.”

‘Donda 2’ is an unfinished demo album by Ye, exclusively released on the Stem Player with only four songs available in February 2022. The rapper began working on the record and its production in early January of that year but since only additional songs had been updated. While most considered ‘Donda 2’ a long-lost dream, the recent crumbs say otherwise with a potential third part of the anticipated record.

For the longest time, Ye’s fans have been in limbo over the missing clues of his discography

. However, it looks like the Yeezy universe is answering prayers, and that too, all at once.

Everything Ye does comes with its fair share of controversy. But when the rapper kept the fans unattended day after day with his unfinished albums, lamentation took over their frustration. Yet, following Ye’s unexpected landing on the ‘Donda 2’ teasers, 3 years after it was originally slated for a release, fans have been scrambling for shelter in enthusiasm, completely in awe and disbelief. However, they have been tasked with quite some difficulty since they now have to choose between a third volume for ‘Vultures’ or ‘Donda.’

Fans who thought it was the end of Ye’s musical era are back in the fold again.

Meanwhile, a few fans have contested the potential rollout, citing they are not interested just in case Ye again gets cozy with AI for ‘Donda 2.’ However, the die-hard fans can barely keep calm about the news, convinced they have finally won despite the setbacks. Yet, considering the unpredictable nature of the rapper, some skepticism remains in the air, refusing to clear until ‘Donda 2’ touches down.
