As you might remember, Enola Holmes was quite the banger when it was first released in September 2020. A Holmes movie starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, it was inevitable for Enola Holmes to be among the most popular Netflix Originals. The movie did not only have an elite cast, but its narrative was very much liked as well. So, fans have been waiting for updates on a sequel ever since the release.

It was a no-brainer for Netflix to go ahead and make a sequel for the movie. Even though it was only rumored for some time, the streaming service finally announced the start of the production for Enola Holmes this May. Still, the stars were busy shooting for The Witcher and Stranger Things. As Henry Cavill is done with The Witcher and Millie Bobby Brown probably has so little left, it seems they can begin in no time.
