So far, Freya Allan has battled monsters alongside Henry Cavill
and made it through a world ruled by apes. And now, it seems like it is high time for her to step into the Disney fairy tale world as well, although that might not entail those cool portal-opening powers and superintelligent primates. Any true fan of Allan would know that she is a big admirer of Rapunzel and has dreamed of playing the character in a live-action version of Tangled
growing up. And it looks like she might just convince Disney to bring her on board.
Freya Allan, recently, flexed her singing muscles, proving how much of a perfect fit she is for her dream Disney role.
Freya Allan decided to please fans with her voice again
Since Disney kicked off its live-action adaptations of animated classics in 2015, it has faced the dilemma of whether to handle the musical numbers without the backup of animation and trained singers. Luckily, Freya Allan seems to have it covered, as she is proving to be quite a talented singer herself. The Witcher
star recently shared a video of herself singing ‘Free Now’ by Gracie Abrams while tickling the ivories.
Allan captioned the post saying, “Definitely some weird singing faces in there
”. This is not the first time the actress has shown off her musical chops. In The Witcher
season 3, she surprised everyone with her vocals while belting out the ballad ‘A Little Sacrifice.’ Interestingly, her desire to play her dream Disney character also comes from her involvement in a ballet rendition of the beloved tale at a tender age.

Freya Allan has already had the good fortune to bring her dream role of Rapunzel to life once when she was just a mere 11-year-old.
Freya Allan’s strong connection to the character of Rapunzel
Freya Allan, during a conversation with HUNGER earlier this year, shared how acting began to take shape in her life as a child. The 23-year-old mentioned that she was always “extremely imaginative
” and preferred “living in these fantasy worlds
.” Allan’s mother took a chance by enrolling the little dreamer in a drama group at the Oxford Playhouse, even though the Baghead
actress was initially reluctant.
It was during this time that Allan landed a role in a touring production of a ballet version of Rapunzel
and found her way into the cast. “For me, it was incredible. I remember crying my eyes out when it finished
,” Allan said. She recalled that moment as the first real feeling of “getting the bug and being obsessed.
” And hopefully, one day she will get to relive her Rapunzel dream, the very role that started it all.
