Gone for Good season 1 is already available on Netflix starting August 13th, 2021. People are already asking if there will ever be season 2.

We’re excited to see a new limited series of drama-mystery thrillers on Netflix. Gone for Good probably will be on Netflix’s Top 10 List when its releases. Based on Harlan Coben’s best-selling thriller and mystery novel, the French miniseries was created. According to Netflix, it was created by Vincent Poymiro & David Elkaim. It is directed by Juan Carlos Medina. Gone for Good takes place in Paris, the city of love. So how will everything go? The thriller will only be released when we know. Let’s learn everything we can about Gone for Good so that we are ready for the release of the series.

What’s the synopsis of Gone for Good?

Here’s the official synopsis by Netflix: 

“Guillaume Lucchesi had drawn a line under the terrible tragedy which saw the two people he loved the most die: Sonia, his first love, and Fred, his brother. Ten years later, Judith, his new lover, suddenly disappears. To find her, Guillaume will have to face all the truths hidden by his family and friends, as well as the ones he’d decided to ignore. For better, but mostly for worse.”

His work is currently available on Netflix as The Woods and The Innocent. All of these shows have done very well. The Innocent, The Woods, and The Stranger both received a Rotten Tomatoes score of 100%. The Stranger scored 83%. These Rotten Tomatoes scores suggest that Gone for Good season 1 will do well on Netflix. It may even be their top 10 favorite series. We also have reason to believe “Gone for Good” will get a second season.

How many seasons of Gone for Good is the series?

Gone for Good currently has one season and is available today (August 13th, 2021) on Netflix. So we don’t know yet the series coming with new seasons. But we guess according to the story and the last episode probably will continue for the second season on Netflix in 2022.

We expect between five to eight episodes of Gone for Good’s second season if it is renewed. Season 1 of the series aired five episodes. This is a strange number for a Netflix TV series. Season 2 could have one or more episodes depending on how the show does.

However, Netflix hasn’t confirmed that there will be a season 2, but it doesn’t look too good for a second season. There is still hope for season 2. If it happens, the new season will likely be released in the late summer or early fall of 2022.

Harlan Coben is a name you don’t want to miss. This is so exciting! It’s so exciting!

This official trailer has so many things happening, that I couldn’t help but go back and adjust the playback speed to see everything. As Guillaume tries to figure out why these bad things keep happening, it looks like he is losing his mind. Judith doesn’t seem as innocent as she appears in that final clip.

Guillaume discovers that his girlfriend is his ex-girlfriend and has been hiding his daughter. His brother might not be dead, but that’s just the beginning. It would also mean that I would lose my mind. You can watch the trailer below!
