Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral has not been able to mend things between the two sisters-in-law, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. Meghan never shared a good rapport with the Princess of Wales. However, their relationship deteriorated following Prince Harry and Meghan’s departure from the United Kingdom. Moreover, Prince William and Kate are upset with the Sussexes for their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey and other controversial statements.

The demise of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch saw the two brothers reuniting with each other. The four royals comprising Harry, Meghan, Kate, and William, made appearances together in the past few days during Queen’s state funeral and committal services. In a surprising turn of events, William also invited the Duke and Duchess to view the floral tributes outside Windsor Castle. However, the frequent meetups in the past two weeks have not contributed to reconciliation between the two Prince brothers. A royal expert also threw light on the conduct of Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton with each other.

An insight into the relationship between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton 

While the people hope to see the four royals together again, royal expert Russell Myers has revealed the current relationship status between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. He stated that the two royal women did not speak a single word to each other during the ceremonies. Also, while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in the United Kingdom, they had no personal meetings or chats with the Princess of Wales. 

“Sources have said the Princess of Wales and Meghan were ‘not known” to have exchanged words throughout the whole period that the Sussexes were in the U.K.,” Russell told Myers as quoted by Mirror. 

The piece of information is not hard to believe. Meghan was spotted standing alone away from the other royal members during the late monarch’s state funeral. Further, it is revealed that Kate is “waiting on an apology” from the Duchess of Sussex.

During her interview with Oprah, Meghan Markle revealed how Kate made her cry just before the royal wedding. The two argued over the flower girls, which resulted in Meghan crying. The interview did not sit well with Kate, and she is hoping for the former American actress to apologize.
