What is Last Seen Alive about?

Release on the 3rd of June, the flick gained recognition for the stellar cast and the brilliant makers behind it. The movie is directed by Brian Goodman who is largely applauded for his work in What Doesn’t Kill You. Marc Frydman who is known for producing Commander in Chief and Shrek the Musical has worked as a writer in this movie. The smooth direction and brilliant screenplay are what made the movie stand out among the array of thrillers that we watched in 2022.

The cast of Last Seen Alive consists of Gerard James Butler in the main role. He is known for gems like Tomorrow Never Dies, Reign of Fire,  and The Phantom of the Opera which earned him a Satellite Award nomination. Jaimie Alexander (Thor: Love and Thunder), Russell Hornsby (In Treatment), and Ethan Embry (Can Hardly Wait) play important roles in the movie.

Last Seen Alive follows Will Spann played by James Butler as he is dropping off his soon-to-be estranged wife at her parent’s home. They stop at a gas station and things only go downhill from there. His wife disappears and he becomes the prime suspect in the case.

The fact that they were fighting and on the brink of ending their marriage also did not play in his favor. Unwilling to corporate with the police investigation, Will sets out on his search to find his wife. An important fact to note is that Gerard James who plays Will Spann who does not believe in law in the flick is a law major in real life. All in all, Last Seen Alive is a Gone Girl without a psychopath in the picture.

Is Last Seen Alive on Netflix?

Not just the viewers but the OTT Mughal is a thriller hoarder itself. So it makes sense for it to have one of the best thriller flicks of 2022. Last Seen Alive is available on Netflix.

The action thriller has just been added to Netflix’s already outstanding thriller catalog. Furthermore, it is also one of the most watched content on the platform right now.
