Once a cultural mega-hit that sparked a divisive mess with its bold portrayal of suburban teen life- unfortunately, Euphoria
has been seemingly shedding its fan following. Back in 2019, Euphoria
had become the teen show everyone loved to talk (and argue) about. But over time, it seems the collective excitement for the show has slowly worn off. The main reason is likely the long delays after season 2. And now, even though there are positive updates trickling in, they have not done much to bring the hype back among fans.
Rumors about Euphoria
being canceled and the cast and crew walking away have been circulating for a while. However, a representative for HBO recently confirmed to The Independent
that “Nothing has changed
.” The representative reassured that “Euphoria is going into production in 2025
.” Many of the cast members in Euphoria
have gone on to become Hollywood darlings- including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney
and Jacob Elordi. While Zendaya was always popular in the ensemble, the HBO show helped her reach a new level of stardom.
HBO denies rumors that Euphoria has been cancelled ahead of its third season.
In a statement to The Independent, a representative for HBO said: “Euphoria is going in to production in 2025. Nothing has changed.”

Meanwhile, Sweeney has been keeping busy with a wide range of roles, including an upcoming Oscar-worthy performance as female boxer Christy Martin. And Elordi, on the other hand, has been starring in one blockbuster after another over the past two years. This left fans wondering whether the actors would be willing to return to Euphoria
. However, HBO’s top executive, Casey Bloys, confirmed earlier this year that “the same core cast
” will be back for season three. Even so, fans are not exactly thrilled about the show’s continuation.
Fans took to X to call for the makers to wrap up Euphoria
once and for all, rather than dragging it out any longer.
Fans do not seem as drawn to Euphoria season 3 as they once were
Is it time for HBO to let “Euphoria” go, or does it still have the magic to captivate audiences?
- End it while it’s still memorable
- Give it one last chance
- The magic is gone, move on
- I’m still excited for more
Girl we are tired. Just let the show go…

Among the large crowd of fans who have lost interest in the show, there are still a few who look forward to what happens next.
Guess we’ll have to wait a bit longer, but at least it’s confirmed! Euphoria ain’t going anywhere just yet!

The delays with Euphoria
have largely been due to the strikes, the packed schedules of its cast, and the major changes in the storyline planned for season 3. But, given the mood among fans
, it is hard to say if season 3 will leave the same impact as its predecessors.
