Netflix News: Halo, God of War, and Overwatch Veterans Clad ‘AAA’ Gaming Studio Shut Down, Confirms Streamers Squashed Dreams

After having fetched all the stars to decorate its catalog with content both original and diverse, Netflix still kept pushing for more changes that would cement its position as the best, especially with the saturation of streaming platforms right now. And the golden idea struck when it quite literally thought of the box by bringing games into its many features.

Following a surplus of game adaptations, some of which it butchered and others it nailed, the streaming giant moved ahead with games as one of its primary focuses. However, this plan has gotten a major setback in its fetus stages itself.

Netflix’s gaming experience met with a heavy squash

With making original content, be it movies and series or gaming, as its defining trait at least in this era, Netflix was running a game studio in Southern California, also called “Team Blue

” as per Game File. However, the streamer has abruptly shut down the studio that was slated to make its next cutting-edge gaming experience titled AAA.

Given the efforts and the sheer workforce that the streamer had put behind its gaming strategies, the shutdown definitely comes as a shock, especially since the games were actually popular.
