Is Meghan Markle similar to Will Smith? The two have stirred up their share of controversies in recent times. Host and news reporter Megyn Kelly seems to think so. And she placed her side of the argument to justify her statement. Both Will and Meghan are well-known Hollywood celebrities, with the latter reliving her life as a Royal living a commoner’s life in the USA.

The two have some commonalities between them. Both have been hitting the news for not-so-good reasons recently. The other similarity is, both belong to the elite part of society. Kelly talks about Will’s slap gate incident during an episode, drawing a comparison with Meghan.

Megyn Kelly, who is currently a news reporter at GB News, mentioned the Duchess of Sussex while talking about A-list actor Will Smith. According to her, the big stars are out of touch with reality. On Dan Wotton Tonight, Megyn and Dan talked about how stars act before and after they are advised by their PR teams. Kelly pointed out how the stars left the Oscars with $140000 gift bags.

She then mentioned Meghan Markle, stating “I put him (Will Smith) in the same boat as I put Meghan Markle.” Kelly was comparing Will Smith getting offended to the Duchess of Sussex’s ‘whining and crying’ that happened since entering the Royal family. According to her, their struggles are nothing compared to common people who are facing a gas crisis.

The I Am Legend actor has been a source of both criticism and meme content since he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars. While the question of Jada Smith’s involvement is still unsolved, what angered most people was Will laughing at the joke, until he suddenly walked up to the stage and slapping the host cracking a joke on Jada’s hair. The other things that put him in a bad light were his dancing at the Oscars after-party, and later, his YouTube apology that was not so well received.
