For 2025, the fifth and final season of Stranger Things

is the strongest series Netflix has in its package. While the platform has already rolled out and continues to produce numerous blockbuster shows, only a very few come close to the excessive love and fandom enjoyed by Stranger Things

and its stars. 

While the series is ready to deliver the end to the fictional alternate dimension of the Upside Down, there has been news of a bunch of new faces making their appearance in the finale.

, Nell Fisher, Terminator

alum Linda Hamilton, Alex Breaux, and child actor Jake Connelly are among the new faces that fans can expect to see in the fifth season. Last year in July, the inclusion of these actors was also announced by Netflix in a behind-the-scenes video. The video that celebrated the Season 5 finishing the half schedule of its filming also starred the new cast member, Hamilton.

 Until the announcement last year, these names were a well-kept secret in the production. Netflix has also gone on and surprised the fans with the episode names of the upcoming season, with only one incomplete name of the second episode that has left them wondering what it could be. While the fans are waiting for a finale trailer, recently, word was dropped from an industry insider

 that Netflix might soon announce the release date.

Apart from this delightful surprise of newly added members, the entire original cast is set to return.

The series’ main characters gracing the show from the very beginning have been confirmed to make their final appereance in the highly anticipated finale. Shining once again on the Netflix scene will be the ensemble cast of Millie Bobby Brown

, Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Charlie Heaton, Gaten Matarazzo, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour, and a few remaining others.

All the children who have started on the show have become household names, as it served as each of their breakout roles in the massively popular series. Many of these stars have become established actors and started new ventures of their own. With the finale this year, they are expected to deliver a satisfying end, which they are aiming to attain with new additions.
