, Toronto is the first to dive headfirst in its efforts to welcome the pop star with open arms. Inspired by cities like Tampa, where the mayor handed over a key to the city to Swift, and Liverpool, which transformed into “Taylor Town”

with full-blown tributes, Toronto’s homage might still be one of the boldest yet.

Inside Indianapolis’ preparation for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

If the music world held an election, Taylor Swift would be the landslide president because everywhere she goes, the VIP treatment tails her like the head of the state on a world tour. This is why when she was about to arrive in Indianapolis with the Eras magic, Mayor Joe Hogsett turned to X just two days before her tour shows to declare the first weekend of November as “Taylor Swift Weekend.”

 

Hogsett mentioned in the proclamation that an estimated 4.5 million fans attended the Eras Tour alone in 2023 to stress the Taylor Swift effect more figuratively. He also compared her influence with the kind of economic investment the Super Bowl brings for its host cities before implying how Indianapolis was expected to double that number. Now with the same hope and admiration, Toronto looks more than ready for a Swift takeover in the “Swiftest Ride

” yet.
