Warner Bros has debuted the first official trailer for The Matrix Resurrections starring Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss.
Earlier this week, Warner Bros. offered fans a sneak peek at The Matrix Resurrections, with the studio launching a website that revealed the first official footage from the upcoming film. Now, WB has released a full-length trailer for The Matrix Resurrections ahead of its arrival this December.
While light on plot details, the Matrix Resurrections trailer features both Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as the returning Neo and Trinity. The footage also includes some of the film’s supporting players, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick and Jonathan Groff. Check it out below.
The Matrix and its two sequels collectively earned $1.6 billion at the worldwide box office. Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss portrayed Neo and Trinity, respectively, in all three chapters of the film series, each of which were directed by Lana and Lilly Wachowski.
Directed by Lana Wachowski from a script she co-wrote with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchel, The Matrix Resurrections stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Eréndira Ibarra, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Priyanka Chopra, Andrew Caldwell, and Brian J. Smith.
