Over the past few months, The Umbrella Academy had been offering teasers and spoilers for season 3. But the streamer never once revealed the full team, until now. In the latest poster, we see both the teams side by side. But of course, Ben is missing from the picture. That makes us wonder whether it will affect them when they are fighting their counterparts in the alternate timeline.

But more interestingly, a fan has made a really good observation. Let’s find out more about that. 

Our dysfunctional superhero family isn’t wearing a uniform 

they all look so GOOD

also notice how the umbrella academy are all in their own clothes as they have broken free and found their individuality, whilst the sparrows are still in uniform

In the poster, The Sparrow Academy are all wearing red overalls but in contrast to them is the Umbrella Academy. The Hargreeves children aren’t wearing any uniforms. They are all wearing their own clothes which tells you a thing or two about their personality. They appear less restrained and freer. Maybe it’s because Sir Reginald wasn’t alive in their timeline. Since he’s alive in this alternate timeline, he has more of a hold over the Sparrow Siblings.

Some serious family is going to go down in The Umbrella Academy season 3

After saving the world from destruction in season 2, when the Hargreeves siblings returned home they were in for a surprise. They had ended up in a different timeline where their father was alive and had founded the superhero family, The Sparrow Academy. The show was as much about the superhero stuff as it was about the dysfunctional family. And now that there are two of them, it’s evident that they are going to clash in The Umbrella Academy season 3. Chances are both the teams will fight with each other to prove themselves better in the eyes of Sir Reginald. 

Additionally, since they are one member short. That could reduce their chances of winning against the Sparrows. Moreover, it was no secret that Reginald was dissatisfied with the Umbrella Academy. So probably the Sparrows are stronger and have better superpowers than our beloved team. Moreover, they’ll also meet Sparrowss Ben. He’s now #2 and not #6. The other members include a cube/ Christopher, Marcus, Fei, Alphonso, Sloane, and Jayme.
