The first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again
has finally been released today, and fans are already losing it. Packed with adrenaline-pumping action, the trailer offered the best look yet at the highly anticipated series. As a continuation of Netflix’s Daredevil
, this new installment will officially bring the Man Without Fear into the MCU fold. Naturally, fans are thrilled to see Daredevil back in action. But a few fans are disappointed— not by the upcoming show’s trailer, but upon comparing it with a previous MCU show.
It has been over two years since Marvel’s Moon Knight
first graced Disney+ screens. Back then, Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum hyped the show with the promise of featuring some of the most intense and brutal action scenes ever seen in the MCU. Interestingly, he made similar promises about the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again.
But while Moon Knight
did not quite deliver on those expectations, it seems Marvel has gone all in to back up their claims for Daredevil: Born Again.
This pisses me off a little bc why wasn’t Moon Knight doing this shit https://t.co/dNobtc5WUO

Many fans are now wondering why the MCU did not get the same level of love and effort for Moon Knight
too. For many viewers, the action sequences in Moon Knight
fell flat. The series had been promoted as a darker, more violent departure from the typical MCU style. However, it often pulled back from truly embracing its brutal potential. This was especially noticeable when it came to depicting the character’s darker alter-egos. Instead of leaning into raw, visceral fight choreography, the series opted for something more toned down.

Fans are now expressing their frustrations even more strongly after seeing the high-octane action teased in the Daredevil: Born Again
.
Fans call for justice for Moon Knight after Daredevil: Born Again trailer
As soon as Moon Knight
aired, the show became the center of heated debates. Many fans felt the series failed to deliver the kind of action that could make it stand out. One particular disappointment was in the pilot episode, where a potentially standout fight in the museum bathroom was cut short. For many viewers, it was a missed opportunity. Now, comparisons to Netflix’s Daredevil: Born Again
have only made Moon Knight
’s action sequences feel even more lackluster in hindsight. “This pissed me off a little,
” a fan wrote.
Someone had a great idea to cut away right before any action scene.

They had the wrong directors for sure (and it was made about two years too early).

Fans are hoping that if a second season of Moon Knight
happens, it will address these issues and make up for the underwhelming action.
Maybe season 2 or moon knight will

There are no solid plans for a follow-up season of Moon Knight
yet. However, director Mohamed Diab has hinted that the MCU hero could show up in other projects, potentially even in a feature film. But whether or not he will finally get the high-energy action that fans are craving remains to be seen.
