The new week will mark the release of many Netflix Originals from various categories and countries. Fans inevitably wonder what they are about. That’s why we are here to tell you more about the new Original releases of the next week. So, if you’re curious as to what to watch on Netflix in the following week, check out our list below. As there are many categories, we’re sure you can find something that suits you.

August 17

• Go! Go! Cory Carson (Season 5) – Animated kids series. In a world of anthropomorphic vehicles, Cory Carson, a friendly little orange car, learns to make his way through the childhood struggles of starting school, making friends, and learning responsibility.
• UNTOLD: Deal with the Devil (2021) – Sports documentary about boxer Christy Martin. She broke boundaries and noses as she rose in the boxing world, but her public persona belied personal demons, abuse, and a threat to her life.

August 18

• Black Island (2021) (Netflix Original) – The dark secrets of a seemingly peaceful island threaten to swallow up an orphaned student when he grows close to a mysterious new teacher.
• Memories of a Murderer: The Nilsen Tapes (2021) – Notorious serial killer Dennis Nilsen’s never-before-heard voice tapes emerge in this documentary. He narrates his own documentary.
• Out Of My League / Sul più bello (2020)  – Italian romantic comedy about a woman who looks for love, but has a very rare disorder. Here’s its synopsis. “Marta may be an orphan with a lethal illness, yet she is the most positive person one can meet. She wants a boy to fall for her. Not any boy – the most handsome of them all. One day, she may have found her match.”
• The Defeated / Shadowplay (Season 1) – Thriller series set in 1946’s Berlin. It tells of an American cop who arrives in a vanished Berlin to create a police force.
• The Secret Diary of an Exchange Student (2021) – Portuguese rom-com about two best friends who embark on a life-changing adventure abroad as exchange students.

August 20th

• Comedy Premium League (Season 1 – New Episodes Weekly) – Indian stand-up and sketch comedy including many comedians. “Follows India’s funniest entertainers engage in battles of wit and wisecracks, in the expectation to be crowned the ultimate comedy champs.”
• Everything Will Be Fine (Season 1) – A separated couple lives together for their child’s sake in this satirical dramedy about what it means to be a good parent and spouse in today’s world.
• Sweet Girl (2021) – Action thriller movie telling of a husband who tries to avenge his wife’s murderers. Starring Jason Momoa, directed by Brian Andrew Mendoza.
• The Chair (Season 1) – A new comedy series about the first-ever woman chair of a falling English department of a prestigious university. Starring Sandra Oh.
• The Loud House Movie (2021) – Animation movie produced by Nickelodeon. With his parents and all 10 sisters in tow, Lincoln Loud heads to Scotland and learns that royalty runs in the family in this global musical journey.
