On My Block is returning for a final season during fall 2021. The coming-of-age comedy has taken a time jump for its last edition. Recently, Netflix announced the premiere date for the fourth and final season of the critically acclaimed show.

On My Block follows the friendship and growth of four childhood friends as they enter high school. They journey through life, beginning as freshmen in the first season. Now, the closing season has them as adults with a past secret lurking.

In this show, four witty, humorous, and streetwise teens in a rough LA neighborhood find their friendship repeatedly tested. Being a teen-comedy drama, the show is popular amongst teens and youngsters. This series, created by Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jeremy Haft, even won the Choice Breakout TV Show award at Teen Choice Awards in 2018.

What to expect from the last season?

Season 3 concluded with Monsé (Sierra Capri) preparing to leave Freeridge to attend a boarding school. Thus, the future of her friend group stood uncertain.

The show has gone two years ahead for the last season. Fans want to know what happened in all this time; how has the group after they drifted apart? We hope at least some questions get answered as the season premieres.

As per Netflix’s synopsis, the four friends have matured into adults and gone their different ways. After two years, when a “secret is unburied,” they have to stick together for survival, as the past is inescapable.

Most of the cast will reprise their roles from the previous season. The cast includes Diego Tinoco as Cesar Diaz, Sierra Capri as Monse Finnie, Jason Genao as Ruby Martinez, Brett Gray as Jamal Turner, Jessica Marie Garcia as Jasmine, and Julio Macias as Oscar.

When is On My Board Season 4 releasing?

The fourth and final season of On My Board premieres this fall on October 4, Monday on Netflix.
