A Halo 3 player has finally met with an online friend face-to-face for the first time in 16 years. The Halo series is as old as the Xbox brand itself, with the original Halo: Combat Evolved being released as a first-party launch title for the very first Xbox console way back in 2001. In the 22 years since then, the epic tale of the Master Chief has been told through countless Halo sequels, spin-offs, and even a live-action TV series, with the original trilogy by future Destiny developer Bungie still considered by many to be the high point of Microsoft’s blockbuster sci-fi FPS franchise.
