. The rapper has got a long list of beefs, most of which are courtesy of his dramatic acts and remarks over the years. From business moguls, companies, other rappers, or even actors— Ye has ruffled a lot of feathers. But that does not mean he only beefs with the A-listers; he has had his fair share of run-ins with YouTubers and content creators, like Kai Cenat, too.

Back in early 2024, Ye and Cenat got tangled up in a pretty bizarre feud. But as the calendar flipped to a new year, Ye decided it was time to bury the hatchet and put the drama to rest.

New year, new Ye— Kai Cenat gets a clean chit from the rapper

During a recent livestream, YouTuber Kai Cenat told his fans that the beef with Ye is finally over. “The beef is over. The beef is over

,” assured Cenat. This little peace treaty came about after Cenat supposedly received a text from Ye, wishing him a happy new year. The whole saga started when Cenat casually reviewed one of Ye’s YZY items during one of his regular streaming sessions on Twitch. Ye did not take too kindly to that and hit back. What followed was a back-and-forth of private and public exchanges.

Ye took to Instagram and called Cenat a “pawn”

in some bigger plan. The screenshot of this chat was also posted on Ye’s Instagram story, and that was when the beef really went public. Later, Cenat defended himself on his livestream, explaining that his intentions were not malicious and that he just wanted a replacement for the ill-fitting garment. But this was not the only olive branch Ye extended with the new year.
