Netflix finally shared the first teaser of Cobra Kai season 4 with the fans. Additionally, the platform confirmed that the new season will be released this December.

As we all know, Cobra Kai is one of the best Netflix series out there. All of its three seasons have immaculate critic ratings. The series also has a huge fan base that is eagerly waiting for any update on Cobra Kai.

The series started to air in May 2018, and we’ve had three seasons of it since. The third season of Cobra Kai debuted on Netflix on January 1st, 2021. Since then, fans of the popular martial art series have been waiting for updates on the fourth season.

A couple of months ago, Netflix announced that they would release the new season in Q4 2021. The same announcement included some other popular works that were slated to come to Netflix in the same period. Among them were The Witcher season 2, which is coming on December 17th, and You season 3. The second part of Money Heist season 5 will also be on Netflix in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Cobra Kai season 4 possible release date

Cobra Kai season 4 release date is in December, but Netflix has yet to announce an exact day. Still, we expect the new season to be released around the very end of this December. New Year’s Eve, which is December 31st, seems like a good bet.

As we earlier mentioned, Cobra Kai season 4 was among the productions that would come to Netflix in Q4 2021. However, we didn’t have anything narrower than that. That changed with Netflix’s latest announcement. They announced the month of release, which is December. Even though we don’t know the exact release date for Cobra Kai season 4, we can rule out October and November 2021 now.

Still, we can make some guesses based on what we know. Even though there’s nothing certain about an exact release date, we have some clues.

Netflix’s schedule for the last three months of 2021 is quite full as we mentioned before. There are many highly popular series that will debut in the same period, after all. However, when we check out the situation on a monthly basis, we see that December stands out. That’s because December 3rd will mark the release of Money Heist season 5 part 2. After that, The Witcher season 2 will come out on December 17th. As Netflix would want to give each of those productions some time to be celebrated on their own, we expect Cobra Kai season 4 to be released towards the end of December.

Cobra Kai’s third season aired exactly on January 1st, 2021. Netflix loves to release big installments on holidays, just when people can have time to binge-watch them. Cobra Kai season 4 will probably be no exception to that. We already know that the end of December is a plausible option for Netflix. There is also a holiday around that time frame, which comes as a perfect coincidence. So, you can expect the new season to come out around New Year’s Eve.
