Q-Force official trailer dropped for David Harbour’s new Netflix animation

Q-Force, which is a new Netflix animated comedy series starring David Harbour, is here with the official trailer.

Q-Force official trailer just dropped for David Harbour’s new Netflix animation. However, it previously received a huge backlash after the release of the teaser. A series that’s supposedly meant to represent LGBTQ+ community more, Q-Force clearly isn’t going to do well in that aspect. That’s because the characters are highly stereotypical, which is the opposite of what we would expect. That makes the series look like a parody against the LGBTQ+ community. To put it as a fan said on YouTube: “This looks like one of those parody shows you see on TV in GTA V.”

However, Netflix still seems to be confident in that series. That might be a different marketing strategy, too. One way or another, we now got an official trailer for Q-Force. Even after all of the negative comments, Netflix wants to show us the queer spy force in all its glory.

Who are in the cast and crew of Q-Force?

Sean HayesGabe LiedmanDavid Miner, and Michael Schur are the executive producers of this animated series. All of them have ample experience with many fan-favorite sitcoms like The Good Place, The Office, and Parks and Recreations.

Here are the main voice actors who are going to give life to the characters of Q-Force:

  • Gary Cole
  • David Harbour
  • Patti Harrison
  • Sean Hayes
  • Laurie Metcalf
  • Matt Rogers
  • Wanda Sykes

Even though the crew seems very successful and experienced with their previous works, the future for Q-Force does not seem so bright. Given the negative comments up until now, Q-Force apparently isn’t underway for a great launch.

What is the synopsis of Q-Force?

This series tells of LGBTQ superspies and it focuses on a gay secret agent named Steve Marywhether (also known as Agent Mary). One day, Mary decides to prove himself to the American Intelligence Agency (AIA), solve a case, and get the approval of the agency, but they have to add a new member to their team, a straight guy.

Here’s the official synopsis of the animation:

“A handsome secret agent and his team of LGBTQ superspies embark on extraordinary adventures.”

What is the release date of Q-Force?

Netflix is going to release Q-Force on September 2nd.

If you’re still willing to give this animation a shot, do not forget to check out its trailer below. You can also watch Q-Force’s first teaser from above.

As we’re in mid-August now, the trailer came around just when we expected it to come. The teaser trailer focused more on the comedy aspects of Q-Force. This new trailer is more about the action parts of Netflix’s new animated comedy. Despite all the criticisms about the characters and premise, the series visually looks good. Still, that did not stop fans from complaining about the cheesy jokes and stereotypes. It seems like Netflix is going to waste a big potential with the plot and the characters of Q-Force, but you never know.

We’ll see how the fans will react when Q-Force will release on Netflix on September 2nd, 2021.
