Many details about the new season of Stranger Things start to emerge those days. Here’s one more. Reports indicate that Stranger Things season 4 will introduce us to more siblings of Eleven.

Stranger Things season 4 is perhaps the most anticipated work that’s on its way to Netflix. Therefore, many fans are speculating as to what we can see in the new season. There are not many details about it, yes, but the limited info we got helps us guess some things. Thanks to the teasers that Netflix shared along the way, we’re not completely in black.

But now, we’re faced with an interesting report on the content of the new season. According to WeGotThisCovered, Netflix will give us more of Eleven’s “siblings” in the new season of Stranger Things. The report comes from the same source who accurately reported the prequel for The Witcher well before the official announcement. So, we can say it’s a pretty solid source that we can rely on.

To be honest, anybody who saw the latest teaser could tell it was obvious. Moreover, it was among the list of 11 things we expect from Stranger Things season 4 – which you can check out by clicking on the link. Therefore, it’s not really a groundbreaker, but it’s still good to know more about the new season.

Previously, Netflix made an episode on Eight, who was among the kids in the lab. While many viewers of the series disliked that episode, the fans were not completely opposed to the idea. However, the episode stands on a pretty terrible 6.1 rating on IMDb, especially when we compare it to the other brilliant episodes of Stranger Things. So Netflix will have to do something much better this time in order to pull this off.

Now that we know at least one more thing about the new season, it’s time to look at the ultimate question: When can we finally watch the new season of Stranger Things?

Stranger Things season 4 possible release date

We already know that the crew is very close to calling the new season a wrap.

At the beginning of this June, David Harbour revealed that his scenes were almost done. Considering how big of a role he has in the series, this certainly rings a bell. He’s probably done filming at this point – if not, he isn’t likely to have much more scenes. He also said that they were planning to finish filming this August. In addition to that, Cara Buono called her scenes a wrap towards the end of this June.

So, it’s pretty safe to assume they will be done with filming this August. Usually, Netflix takes around a year with the post-production processes, but it’ll be longer with Stranger Things. That’s because it needs a lot of visual effects and work.

Therefore, we can expect an early-mid 2022 release date. 2021 does not seem possible at this point, and January 2022 is pretty hard, too. February is a good possibility, too, but not the best. The most possible period we can watch the season in is around March-April 2022. That lines up with the remarks of Finn Wolfhard, who expects a 2022 release date for Stranger Things season 4.
